“Pack a pillow and blanket and see as much of the world as you can. You will not regret it.” ― Jhumpa Lahiri
In the late '90s, Nicole began her career in marketing as an editor and writer for Yamamoto Moss – then one of the largest independent marketing agencies in the Midwest. With clients ranging from start-ups to Royal Caribbean, 3M, Target, and Wells Fargo, she learned how to craft a client's voice and collaborate with designers, researchers, and other strategists.
After Nicole returned to Appleton, WI, former colleagues kept hiring her as a freelancer. Twelve years later, her to-do list is packed with projects for Fusion Hill, Kohler, Pinpoint Direct Marketing, Alliance Laundry Systems, and others. Most weeks include everything from Fortune 500 companies to non-profits. And while you'll see samples of her work above, much of it can't be shown thanks to those pesky NDAs. So if you're curious about additional experience, please ask.
Always looking for an opportunity to share her love of writing, Nicole also teaches English composition and literature at Concordia University–Wisconsin and is the enthusiastic caretaker of a Little Free Library.
